* Remote-first, so not much chance to interact with your team in person

- post acquisition - people are still allowed remote - no pay cuts - you can coast

- hashicorp is virtually dead - whatever was left of culture is also dead - endless amount of middle managers who are completely disconnected from engineering and product - cost cutting is in full swing and painful (and bad for customers) - very bleak outlook - morale and motivation gone
