The Jacksonville office is run by great staff, supervisors, and a director who cares about their team and holds everyone accountable for their jobs. It is a very friendly learning environment. I never worked anywhere where employees were happy to come to work as much as Haven hospice.

Finding providers who take the company offered health insurance was a challenge. PTO accumulation is not as competitive as other hospice companies.

I’ve been with Haven for almost eight years, and from the start, I’ve felt like I belong to a family. I work with some of the most selfless, compassionate, and caring people you will find—truly a team that feels more like family than coworkers. The company culture is incredibly supportive, and we’re all committed to one another’s growth. Working in hospice is the most rewarding work I've ever done! There is nothing more meaningful than guiding families through one of the most difficult seasons of their lives, knowing our team’s clinical excellence, responsiveness, and genuine compassion truly make a difference. In fact, I often think of a quote from Mahatma Gandhi: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” And for me, as a hospice nurse, I’ve truly found myself here—this is my home, and my calling is with Haven.

Healthcare is always complex, we are a growing and processes change, however, I have no real concerns other than typical challenges of healthcare at this time.
