Pros

Had some nice colleagues, however, they have all now left.

Cons

- Horrendous staff retention (within 1.5 years 16 people left the company, some of which lasted less than a month). - Serious Micromanagement. - Soul destroying work. - Dated 'processes' that simply don't work. - Zero stability. - Toxic attitude amongst management towards mental health. - Very poor work life balance (You must fill in a late form if you are even 1 minute late to work and you will be docked pay). - Terrible attitude towards former employees, management will insult and devalue former employees at every given opportunity. - An awful working environment, every minute is steeped in awkward silence. - Management actively lie to clients by providing false reports. - No chance for career progression or development. There is many more cons to list, but the company honestly isn't worth the time. If you value your own mental health and happiness then look elsewhere. Read the other reviews (not ones written by management). These reviews are not written by 'disgruntled' employees, they are written by professionals that actively want to see workplace improvement.

I am sorry you feel bitter about your experience. We gave you an opportunity and paid you what we said we would. All we expected was for you to provide the work you said you would. What did you do for Hayward Miller?

Pros

Some nice people to work with.

Cons

Sexism, favoritism, if you are a man you'll probably do well here and get promoted. Gossip gossip gossip, the men in management here all complain about their partners and other staff. They do a lot of talking...not a lot of doing work.

Pros

Great colleagues. But they all left while I was there. All 16 of them.

Cons

The atmosphere in the office is horrendous. It is tense all the time. Constantly feel like you are being overwatched and monitored on everything you do. Micromanagement is at the core of their business, like things done their way and won’t change, even when the business is paying for it by losing clients. Don’t listen to advice on how to adapt as they don’t want to as ‘it’s the way we have always done it’. It doesn’t work anymore. Outdated procedures and methods. Try to teach you to be pushy salespeople. ‘A no isn’t a no. Try again in a few weeks’. No career progression prospects. Even if you express interest in another department, they will string you along and make you think they will let you try something new, and it never happens. Managers talk about employees behind their backs. Are confrontational. Don’t follow processes that they drill into us. They don’t follow it and it’s apparently fine. Employees don’t follow it and they get a bashing for it. Makes everyone’s job a lot harder because they don’t do their job properly, and then complain and get frustrated at employees for something that isn’t their fault. When people leave the business, which is a very regular occurrence here, they then talk badly behind their back about them. Even if they were a good worker, they always find a negative. Mental health issues are not dealt with correctly. Don’t have enough support. Don’t work here if you are looking for a supportive team, good job benefits, career progression or interesting work. You won’t find it here.

People who do not last, do not understand the sales process. We represent our clients and therefore need to be fully trained. If you do not get results (sales) it is not the right job for you. I am sorry you feel bitter about your experience. We gave you an opportunity and paid you what we said we would. What work did you complete for us?
