Pros

Talented teams. Smart people. Great pay. Great benefits. Very reasonable work expectations. Good work/life balance. Healthy culture.

Cons

Leadership is focused on any short term win at all costs. Willing to throw away mission for a few extra bucks. Rarely look at the long term. Don't care about users. Monetization metrics drive company actions, no balance with other KPIs. Much of the leadership is ex-meta, Intuit, or hulu. The mindset shows. Focused on discounts as a selling strategy, not improving the user experience or increasing value for members. Not a lot of connection to the mission or mindfulness within the company. PMs make all product decisions, PDs are not listened or treated as active partners in product. A PM's one off-the-cuff idea will win over a researched and proven-out one every time. Not a good place for career growth if you want to work on your craft or have a voice. PMs get sole credit for every project your team does. They rarely give any shoutouts or recognition to others on the team, such as engineers or product designers that actually do all the work. PDs are rarely included in meetings on their projects, so often a game of telephone without being able to contribute to solving the problem and framing the solution. Opportunities that arise from research almost never get prioritized. Very little design thinking or iterative UX/UI. Product overall has terrible UX. Poor choice of management because it's a lot of wasted talent and resources. PDs have great insights on what to build, but their voices are silenced.

Pros

-they offer great resources for members to utilize -continued education to sharpen your coaching skills

Cons

-there have been so many changes and expectations that are frustrating to navigate -they expect way too much for so little pay and no benefits -this role is so taxing on your own mental health... many of the members that you see aren't a good fit for coaching, so you're also filtering a lot of members for therapy and navigate really heavy mental health conversations that aren't within the scope of coaching -feedback isn't delivered live, it's all put in a spreadsheet that's clearly input by automation
