Pros

You work with some great coworkers who honestly care about you and the people they work with.

Cons

The emphasis at Headspace has become money. There are few if any room for advancement unless you're in the upper echelons of management, and they have been doing rounds of lay offs regularly. They are also now forcing all therapists to go part time now as well. This is the future of the company as envisioned by a CEO who has nothing to do with mental health. If you do anything but agree excitedly with management, you will lose opportunities and raises. They will invite opinions, but they don't honestly want them. People are afraid to say what they actually think or need. It's a hostile environment in that way. They will have no problem lying to your face either. Toxic positivity and gaslighting run absolutely rampant here.

Pros

-they offer great resources for members to utilize -continued education to sharpen your coaching skills

Cons

-there have been so many changes and expectations that are frustrating to navigate -they expect way too much for so little pay and no benefits -this role is so taxing on your own mental health... many of the members that you see aren't a good fit for coaching, so you're also filtering a lot of members for therapy and navigate really heavy mental health conversations that aren't within the scope of coaching -feedback isn't delivered live, it's all put in a spreadsheet that's clearly input by automation
