Pros

-Benefits -Exposure to a lot of different aspects of the business -Coworkers (Not management) I will say that I believe the company will do well, and they have a great product in the marketplace. I learned a lot and do thank my original manager for all that he did to help me get to where I am today.

Cons

Let me start off by saying that things were MUCH better pre-covid. Things went severely downhill when everyone went WFH and nearly all "perks" of working for the company went out the window. We used to receive free lunches, workouts on site, yoga, and massages. When we went to WFH, they shut down all but 1 office. They did not compensate for the lost benefits and reaped the rewards by shifting 90% of the facilities costs to the employee. Electric rates in California are not cheap, but did we see any offset for Electric, Internet, and Food (considering we had free lunch)? No. When HR was asked, the responses were always cold and met with "well what do you want us to do?" and then they would reject any suggestion you made. HR is run by people who do not care about the employees but only care about protecting the company. We asked for internet and cellphone reimbursement, and we ONLY got it once they realized it was legally required in some states. They played it off like they were doing it for us, but it was just to CYA. -Long Hours (55+ at least) - They still pitch "we're a startup" but should be coming close to 500 employees now. That is not a startup and things need to change. -Low Pay if you aren't in sales or a "unicorn" (most of the "unicorns" quit within months) -Ever-changing strategies, goals, and what I guess you could call processes. Management would change their minds on a dime when results were not what they wanted after an hour or two of a change. -Burn and Churn -- Best employees were constantly burning out and quitting. The company is like a mini-amazon, treat the employees like they are replaceable and only show concern when they have a issue that could cause problems for the company or the $$. It has taken me a long time to leave a review because I wanted to be as objective as possible. At the time of my departure, I had a very negative view of the company, the employees, and the somewhat shady business practices.
