Pros

If the stars align, you can make a lot of money.

Cons

Company does not have the infrastructure in place to do what they are trying to accomplish. Virtually no training. Their billing department might be the worst in the industry and you might be looking for a new job before you get half of the commission due to you. Unrealistic goals with virtually zero support from management and a culture of fear.

Pros

Good medical sales experience & work life balance

Cons

This company’s leadership needs to take a hard look in the mirror. They frequently talk about employees being “family,” but their actions suggest otherwise. Over the last four months, sales representatives were directed to revisit accounts, retrain customers on a new sales process, and collect supplies so they could be returned to a third-party vendor. Employees spent months completing this work and meeting the company’s deadline, only to be laid off almost immediately afterward. To make matters worse, representatives were terminated midway through the month and informed they would not receive commission for the first 12 days they had already worked and generated business during that month. For a sales organization, this felt particularly discouraging and unfair. The lack of strategic planning, transparency, and consideration for employees was disappointing. Leadership’s words and actions were completely misaligned, leaving many employees feeling used rather than valued.
