Pros
I was able to get my first job in my field and gain valuable experience. Health Insurance is available through the company after 90 days. At first I worked more than 40 hours/week but after getting into the swing of things, I can easily get all my work done in 30hours/week, generally speaking.
Cons
Negative culture with an emphasis in micromanagement. Even with my MS degree and residing in an area with high cost of living, I'm paid about 10k below the national average for a dietitian No PTO until 1 year of employment. After 1 year, the employee is allotted 1 week PTO. Made to sign a very strict non-compete. Other contract companies (i.e. Sodexo/Morrison) do not have such strict contracts. Very high turnover throughout all levels of the company.
