      Great people, good benefits, seem to like to promote within. Super smart editors.

      Cons

      The editors' minds and desires are in the right places, but there's too much red tape to get anything done. Little resources and lots of scrambling over budgets.

      Pros

      Well-organized and good communication. As a contractor, I found Hearst to be a pleasure to work with.

      Cons

      I don't have any cons to report other than that the accounts payable is out of North Carolina and can take 60 days to receive payment.
