Pros

By and large, the employers are all bought in, superb London office location.

Cons

The fact I had a positive assessment as part of my development, to then be told that my performance wasn't good enough and had my contracted terminated. Is a very big con! How a manager can sign a performance review with all average to good scores, then dismiss you is beyond embaressing. No prior warnings or dissaplinaries documented either, makes for a embaressing call by management. What's worse, I've spoken to a number of previous employees who have had the same or similar treatment.

Thank you for your review and feedback. While it's never easy to part ways with an employee it's key for the growth and success of our team to drive a high level of performance and commitment to our company goals. We work closely with our team members to support their development but unfortunately in this case, the performance standards that we expected in the team were not met.

Pros

Innovative Environment: Working in a startup focused on modernising grain trading provides opportunities to engage with creative solutions for the industry. Supportive Team: A collaborative and approachable team environment with lots of learning and support. Customer Interaction: The chance to interact directly with customers and agribusinesses adds variety and makes the role rewarding. Exciting Mission: Being part of a company that’s improving the industry with tech is fulfilling.

Cons

Sales Flexibility: Lack of creative problem-solving and alternative outreach strategies. Constant changes: The fast-paced and evolving nature of a startup can lead to shifting priorities and less stability compared to larger companies. Resource Constraints: As with many startups, resources can be stretched thin, requiring extra effort to meet objectives.
