Pros

Heery promotes from within and has paid for training courses and license expenses. Very good signs for someone who wants to stay with a company.

Cons

Heery was recently acquired by CBRE and benefit prices have increased with reduced insurance coverage and matching retirement. I have had bad experience in the past when my current employer merged, and this seems to be leading the same way.

Pros

Decent benefit package Good public clients Parent company has good values and opportunity to grow Work life balance is achievable

Cons

The local leader is chaotic, lacks transparency and accountability for their own decisions and has no direction for the office. There is a complete disconnect between the parent company, Turner & Townsend, and the local Heery office which seems to refuse to integrate into T&T values and direction, openly speaking poorly of the parent company. There is no clarity on promotions and promotions do not appear to be based upon actual output. What applies to some employees, does not apply to others, with leadership seeming to hold some back while others are gifted promotions without the same requirements as others. The culture in the office is that of "Good Ole Boys club" with inappropriate behavior being openly accepted by leadership simply by a refusal to address with the offending parties and often being the offenders themself.
