Pros

HEIMAT/ Mothertongue is a dream workplace. The building is nothing short of divine, and the staff culture is one of warmth, inclusivity and safety. This place is filled with opportunity so if you’re successful at the entry level, the sky is the limit here. Eleanor Bernstein is the Managing Director and mother bear of Mothertongue / Heimat. She fiercely protects her staff and the club members in a way I have never witnessed from a manager. She is highly intuitive and rare. If you get the opportunity to work under her, nurture this relationship, ask questions, and be open to implementing her feedback. This place is packed with celebrity clientele who you must handle with unrelenting tact, professionalism and discretion. These are some of the most powerful people on the planet and they’ve chosen HEIMAT because it matches their level of elevation. Make sure you are prepared to control your emotions and maintain a degree of stoicism when serving in this space. If you need help figuring out what that is, ask and observe. There is an abundance of guidance available for you to succeed every step of the way. And what ever you do, don’t bring up politics or current events of any kind on the job. If you get the honor of being hired and working for Mothertongue / HEIMAT, ensure you nuture it because this is an opportunity of a lifetime. Be warm, use your discretion, watch your tongue, care for and respect the people around you, and you will be home. This place is the real deal. Good luck!
