Pros

They love to micro manage. You will try and do your job, but because you will be micro managed, you will be doing busy work with the tasks you kept being given and won't be able to do your job. So, if you love to be micro managed, this is the job for you! As a sales person, you will be required to come in the office every day and treated like a small child being micro managed by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. They are trying to get an additional Executive over Sales for a 4 person office because the original Executive doesn't know sales. 2 Executive level people and 4 sales people and one office worker. So, if you like too many Cooks in the kitchen, this is the job for you!

Cons

When you leave, they will continue to use your name and not deactivate your email account until they feel like it is warranted and attached a picture of a totally different picture to your account as well. They will also threaten to take money out of your check however they please (this being illegal) even if you didn't sign saying you'd pay if a parking card wasn't returned. They are really petty like that, not even giving you a chance to return it without threats. If you try and take your concerns to the top, they do nothing about it and stand behind the current situation.

Pros

Autonomy, Chance to build something great, dedicated team, innovative and disruptive

Cons

Some may say because based in UK, being on an outpost is hard, it's all in your head and how you approach it.

Pros

LOVE working for Hello Soda! I am excited to be a part of something innovative, dynamic, and challenging while having fun and getting to work with amazing people both in Austin and in our headquarters in Manchester. Management genuinely wants what is best for me as a person and employee, and cares about my success. Management wants to know which direction I would like to grow with the company. So, I can do what enjoy, and work never feels like "work". The team is more of a family – friendly, resourceful, and a supportive sounding board for questions, knowledge and ideas. Most of all, the team is dedicated to Hello Soda and share the passion to see the company succeed. Events and Incentives – I have traveled to Cyprus for a kick off meeting, worked and trained in the U.K., floated down the river with the team, gone to happy hours and trivia nights and worked together for conferences and events. Hello Soda rewards and praises employees in company-wide meetings.

Cons

Because Hello Soda is a smaller company, some people might not be used to the “roll up your sleeves” mentality: being resourceful, creative and adaptive in all positions and offices – which I actually enjoy. The constant change of the start-up atmosphere is not for everyone. Some people might not respond well when Management asks for more out of employees than to listen to problems. They want to see the employee take charge and come up with solutions.
