Pros

Working at Henderson Properties affords you the rare opportunity of working for a company large enough to be a leader in the local and regional markets, while being small enough for each team member to make real, significant contributions to the overall organization. A family owned-business since its conception over 30 years ago, this place has the feel and energy of a small business despite having all of the bells and whistles of a larger corporation. As company co-founder Shelly Henderson routinely reminds her staff, "You are part of the family. This is not my company, this is OUR company." No one is a number here. The leadership team is better than it has ever been and they are genuinely dedicated to the success of their team members. Every employee has a voice and honest feedback is actively encouraged. Most importantly, the leadership LISTENS to the staff and in the past year alone has made big changes to improve the environment and work life balance (***work-from-home Fridays, flexible work schedules, extra paid holidays***). It is also a truly FUN place to work. We regularly have engaging contests, raffles, themed events and food truck Fridays. If you have a positive attitude and solid work ethic, you will undoubtedly find success at Henderson Properties.

Cons

As in any small to mid-size company, every team member matters and their efforts (or absence of) are impactful. Being short-handed from time to time may require you to step up and help others. Rarely does this even mean extra hours, but if you're not a team-player this might not be the place for you.
