Pros
- high intern salary - talented people - a lot to learn - a lot of women in high management positions
Cons
- open office culture (open-ish) (noise problems - distractions) - cost cuttings / layoffs - puts pressure on remaining employees to work longer hours - depends on your team what you learn - sometimes unrealistic expectations of your bosses - very hierarchical (too many decision makings levels - slows down progress) so limits creativity - instances of sexism towards women (e.g. in a majority women room the male boss conveys his point proudly by joking in a sexist way) - at least in int. marketing department: interns tend not to be hired as full-time employees afterwards. - Henkel hires from certain prestigious universities so that leads to a certain culture of prestige so if you are not from that background you feel left out
