Pros
They pay some of their positions decently compared to surrounding areas. There is plenty of opportunity (most of the time) for overtime as they run most of their employees off and would rather work their current employees to death than have to pay anyone else.
Cons
As mentioned, very poor management. Most of the supervisors are buddies so if one of them doesn’t like you for any reason, none of them do. If you’re a breastfeeding mom, please do not work here. Unless you’re buddies with supervisors or the employees, you will not get proper pump breaks and if the doctors are using the office space, you have to pump in a bathroom because there is nowhere else that does not have a camera. Employees are overworked, most underpaid. They teach restraint methods, but will not use them even when the patients are assaulting you, so you often get beat on for 12 hours straight (you’re left alone in a room with them if they require 1 on 1 sitting; they will not pay extra staff to sit in violent patients’ rooms with you). Your coworkers are NOT your friends. Everybody talks poorly about one another. Unless you already have friends working there, do not expect a warm welcome upon hire.
