Pros

The few, very few experienced people left made my time more bearable.

Cons

There is a culture of blame, micro management, suppression of progression and complete lack of understanding of the roles people carry out by Senior and middle management. Health and well being of employees does not register as a priority with management either. Staff are extremely underpaid and over worked. HR are aware of bullying, politics and mistreatment of staff, they however look the other way. Henry Schein used to be a great place to work, with a real team culture not so much now...

Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
