Pros

Sounds cliche, but the people I am working for are amazing. I was hired on in November 2020, and due to the Pandemic, my onboarding process was completely virtual. I would have never thought how seamless the transition would have been pivoting to a virtual onboarding. For example, this morning someone asked how I felt about my new job and I said something like, "I mean a job is a job, but more than anything, I really love the people I am working for and working with. Even though we haven't met in person, their excitement and candor welcoming me to the team has motivated me more than I ever could have imagined." Although I have only been with the company less than 2 months, I can honestly say the people are great at Schein.

Cons

Cannot say I have much to add here. My laptop had some technical issues and I was 2 working days without my computer so I guess that stunk. However, I understand Schein is taking the spread of Covid-19 very responsibly so I understand that technical issue turnaround is slower than what we'd all like.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
