Pros
1. If you came from a big well-organized company, you will be able to make a lot of progress for the team. The wider vision you have, the easier it will be to find out the holes in the organization to make positive changes.
2. If you do not feel comfortable with English and prefer speaking Mandarin, welcome.
3. Higher job grade level compared to experience. You will never be able to start with your current job level in any other company.
4. At least externally, you are working for one of the giants in the semiconductor industry, all thanks to the mercy of ASML.
Cons
1. Extremely unorganized doumentation, technical specification policies.
2. Management needs desparate improvement.
3. Obscure job responsibilities.
4. People are not so responsive to change, they prefer to keep things as the old times. Come on, we are living in the 21st century.
5. If you are not a Mandarin speaker, good luck. People here are really horrible with English. Some people even cannot speak a single word.
6. Unorganized working environment. People need to learn how to clean up. Also, communication improvement is desparately needed.
7. Not so great compensation compared to ASML, KLA, AMAT. At least it has been better after ASML acquisition.
8. Although the Dutch guys are working hard to drive change in the organization or introduce a better way of working, the people are still stuck to a start-up mentality. It’s already been three years since acquisition but the progress is too slow.
