Pros
Depending on the school and its culture, can be some really wonderful and dedicated people.
Cons
The school board does not care adequately for its staff. The insurance premiums hurt more than they help. The demands on teachers and administration are unrealistic, create stressful environments and pander to the parents. Teachers spend all of their personal time working. "leave it at the office..." does not apply.
