This company truly cares about their employees. It's very rare to find what we have at HPD - our management understands our work environment and the individual personalities of each employee and has successfully matched new hires that integrate well with existing coworkers. We truly are a family here; everyone gets along with each other, we honestly encourage and support one another through everything, and we truly are a TEAM!! Career advancement is minimal, but if you love it here and fit in, you won't mind not advancing. Work load can be large at times, especially during peak renovation season, but that's par for the course in the hospitality industry. This company was built from bare bones and ownership really live by their core values. Fabulous company to work for and with.
Cons
The hospitality industry is a hard, but rewarding business. Unfortunately, this pandemic has exposed a nerve in that it's not very sustainable through crisis. Hoping our industry can pull through. Career advancement is minimal as stated above, but really those are the only 'cons' for this company.
