Pros

Friendly staff and volunteers who really do their best to look after the animals despite the horrible conditions.

Cons

Everything else, main issue being the horrible welfare standards, upheld by the owners. Who also treat the volunteers and staff horribly. First impressions were of a very run down place with potential. The owners do their best to impress potential staff members as they can't keep any staff on. This positive attitude disappears quickly, don't let yourself be fooled.

Pros

Caring for sick and injured wildlife. Staff and volunteers are excellent at what they do.

Cons

Hospital not fit for purpose, roof leaks, unable to maintain proper hygiene standards, cages oldfashioned and no longer suitable, full of woodworm and unhygienic. Very poor pay for the amount of work done on a daily basis. Very poor welfare standards, animals kept alive for far too long when they need to be euthanized. Owners are hoarders and keep far too many thing no longer useable. Staff are blamed for lack of cleanliness and clutter when they are not responsible. Owners not willing to move with the times and improve welfare standards.

Pros

Great to see wildlife being treated, recovering and being released. Staff and volunteers are amongst the best I have worked with

Cons

Staff get little or no communication and constantly changing instruction from management. Managers only give negative feedback and make Staff feel undervalued and stressed. Unlikely to change in the near future.
