Pros

Honestly, I am not sure I could say there were any pros to my experience at Hey Frankie other than learning the lessons I did, the biggest one being that it is a red flag when the hiring process moves lightning fast because the CEO so desperate to hire someone (probably due to their quick turn around)

Cons

Echoing pretty much every other review here. I experienced the same thing with the interview process, ended up getting the job, starting immediately. Everyone who had interviewed but never heard back honestly dodged a bullet. I started this job and quickly knew I was in trouble. There was no proper training/onboarding, no check ins, nothing. I was treated like a machine, working almost 10-12 hours a day just to get my work done. The workload was outrageous and I consider myself a pretty fast worker. Maybe I could have been more efficient if I had received proper training. I was essentially thrown into the deep end figuring out everything about the job practically all on my own. After about a month maybe, Ryan (The CEO) finally set up a call labeled "check-in" and I was like oh good finally a meeting where I can express my concerns. Not even 30 seconds into this meeting and he says "this isn't working out, goodbye" and then hangs up. No explanation, no feedback, no chance to stand up for myself. Then was immediately logged out of everything and no way to contact anyone from the team. I was unable to collect unemployment because I was technically "fired" so I then had to fight for wrongful termination. It was such a mess. I have never felt so disrespected and disposable in my entire professional life. I could have understood if I just wasn't the right fit for the position— but to be given no chance, no explanation, no further communication was immature, unprofessional and just cruel.

Pros

I love how creative and collaborative the team is! Everyone contributes in team meetings because they genuinely have great thoughts and ideas. Lots of laughs, lots of hard work, and the rewarding feeling of knowing our clients really do love the work we produce for them. Agency life is generally tough across the entire market, but this agency seems to do things differently, making positive waves for both company culture and client expectations. Plus, I love how welcoming the team is. It's very easy to hop on board and start collaborating right away, and everyone shares appreciation for each other and the hard work that's put in every week. Plus, there is a handful of people who have been with the company for a long time, which is a testament to the positive culture.

Cons

If you love remote work like me, this may not be a con at all. But with small companies that work remotely, you obviously don't have that "office vibe." However, the team works really hard to intentionally connect across all sides of the company, keeps open and abundant communication (but not too much), and makes working remotely feel a lot less isolating. Seriously nailed down the work from home lifestyle.

Pros

Remote work. Good team to work with (Although employee churn rate is high). Good entry level work.

Cons

While the team was supportive, the CEO was disappointing. He often came across as self-centered, showing little regard for employee well-being or growth. There were signs of lack of genuine care for the people working under him. At times, I felt more like a means to an end than a valued member of the team. All of the other reviews posted here are extremley accurate. This is good for an entry level job but definitly not worth staying long term.
