Pros

It's a pretty easy job, get a decent discount but not on all products of course

Cons

Well for one they make you push some absolute garbage products down people's throats. The udder bliss is an absolute joke. With 5 grams of fat and 20 grams of whey concentrate, I felt bad selling that garbage with a straight face to people who wanted a good protein. Same with the liquid multi vitamin. HH claims it's a whole food liquid multi but that stuff destroyed customers stomachs who sampled it. No whole food multivitamin should do that. It's no surprise their customer base/big spenders are trendy "fit" people who don't really know what they're doing. Any serious athlete or lifter knows to go to bodybuilding.com and save their money time and mental health from a ridiculously underpaid manager who is stressed out of his mind from corporates demands who will try to up sell and force nasty samples of garbage mass produced supplements down their throat.

Pros

As a part-time nutrition counselor at Hi-Health for last several years has added lot of knowledge and sales skills to my experience. Worked in restaurant and clothing stores prior to Hi Health, it is hard to compare my experience to my current job. Both “gourmet” restaurant and designer clothing store paid next to nothing, well minimum wage. They expected us to be on call and would cancel the work hours as they pleased. There were weeks I took home some money and other weeks where I could only get 5 hours of work. My manager at hi health gives me schedule week before, very flexible to my needs. It is a demanding work because I have to learn a lot about vitamins and other supplements. It is like going to school. I have improved my lifestyle because of exposure to such learning from everyone including manufacturers that come to my store. Besides the satisfaction of helping customers that need to feel better, I like the pay much better than my previous jobs. Depending on my week and having some hot items to sell, it is easy to make close to $13 an hr. Plus my hours don’t get cancelled without notice.

Cons

Not many for me but there are others they have a hard time learning all the vitamins and stuff. There can be some competition because of commission. My manager keeps it fair and fun.
