Poor leadership & micromanagement at every level. Pressure to launch US brands that don’t resonate in the UK with little to no investment. Inexperienced leadership means no opportunity to learn from them and when staff are underperforming they force them out rather than coach them. KPIs are conflicting and the way they feed in to bonus is kept opaque so you never know what bonus you are on track for until it is paid. The culture has diminished over time to a point where very few people want to be there but the pay is too good to leave behind. For such a large business, especially globally, they maintain a very low headcount which means every team member does significantly more than their job description and generally one person to a role so if they have holiday or sickness it causes chaos.
