Pros
I loved the school I was placed in. That was the one thing that made this job bearable.
Cons
Constant phone calls threatening to dock my earned pay based on scheduling conflicts out of my control, negative office staff sending rude emails/calls, recieving multiple emails/calls about billing problems even after they were resolved (lack of communication in office), not being told that our monthtly checks were going to be late on multiple occasions. (Started work 9/9/13 and didn't get paid until 10/22/13 after being promised pay by contract on 10/15/13. This happened three other months, which made my rent and bills late!) Also, if you call and ask to speak to higher-ups, they do not return your phone calls. Had to threaten them with a lawyer to even get a copy of my contract! My stress levels were through the roof with this company. Pay is nearly HALF of what the NYC DOE offers per hour for individual providers. Not worth it at all!
