Great Organization - Former ESL Teacher Highbridge Community Life Center Employee Review

Highbridge provided much needed services to the community

There were not enough funding streams to sustain programming, which led to its doors being closed.

The people of the Bronx were highly appreciative of the service we provided to the community.

Many opinioned the Organization was managed by militant feminist director, who sometimes had a rasist slant towards minorities. The director was an elderly Irish nun whose father was once a police officer for over thirty years in the Bronx. She was very distrustful of the employees, especially people of color, and only promoted whites to higher positions of responsibilties.
