Pros
The concept of what HRS was started for is amazing and could be really influential to worker safety.
Cons
Senior management seem incapable of making a clear decision on what is wanted. Communication is vague and confusing. Complete lack of clear requirements. Chaotic and panicked work environment. Complete inability to focus on a manageable set of priorities. Everything needs doing and it has to be now. High stress levels throughout the organisation, despite the MD being a mental health first aider.
Redundancy is common.
Employee benefits are few. The cycle to work scheme documented in the employee handbook doesn't exist. All company policies seem to be inherited from the parent traffic management company with no adaptation to tech. Salaries are below market average.
Bottesford office is a neurodivergent's nightmare. Open plan, dark, a few led panel lights, very echoey and noisy.
Lack of meeting rooms with very poor media equipment for people dialing in remotely. Network management is poor and often down. IT support is subcontracted out which never works well.
No internal HR, just a distant business partner in the parent company.
Organisational structure is inefficient and confusing, and that's after a restructure and redundancies.
