Pros

Firstly- The vibe here to work is amazing. You feel like coming to the office, making a cup of coffee, check work schedule for the day- having lovely conversations with your peers, and starting your day. Indeed, it's a necessity in today's fast-paced world. Secondly - The hierarchy system is well-managed and well-organized. Again this directly affects how my day looks like each day. Who I am to report to, what are the priorities for the day, and whom do I have to communicate my opinion to so that it's recognized? This gives me personal satisfaction. Embracing Growth: Here, weekly one-on-one sessions with managers are a game-changer. (I have never had weekly one-on-one in my past organizations) They provide a platform to openly discuss challenges, seek feedback, and pinpoint areas for growth, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. I truly believe that work comes with its fair share of stress and deadlines, regardless of where you are. However, being part of Hiive provides a lively environment that helps navigate through it all. I'm grateful to be a part of it. One last charming thing about Hiive is that they host weekly lunches and Friday bars, which add to the joy of being part of this fun company :)

Cons

Though not really a downside, humans tend to like more perks. Excited to see what new benefits the company will offer as it grows.

Pros

Company is growing fast. Fellow employees are great and v talented. Some fun perks. Fully stocked fridge for snacks.

Cons

Stressful work environment. Constant micro management, no autonomy. No clear path for promotion or growth. Expected to work long hours as that’s ‘the norm’ at a start up. Always hiring and quietly firing. Upward feedback ignored.
