Pay under market comp standards

Time off is generous and directors have a lot of autonomy. Some coworkers are great.

Very low pay for a Director's job. New directors & coordinators are coming in at significantly higher rate than current staff. There are no raises unless you get promoted.You usually work as a one person office without and secretarial or other support staff. Hiring practices are unfair as are promotions. Very little staff and faculty diversity. Sometimes retirement match is taken away.
