Shutting down offices nationally - AVOID! - Director Hitachi Vantara Employee Review

Thanks for your feedback. We have no intention of misleading our employees. The decision to move forward with virtualization of some offices was made due to office spaces being underutilized. As our business has changed so too has the role of the physical office. We see that many offices aren’t being used due to being inconvenient to access or people prefer to work at home. Outside of our main offices, many are only used once or twice per month. As people have stopped coming into the office, we want to rethink our model so that we focus on building the ‘community’ of the Geo rather than investing in an unused space. We believe we've put the right strategy and building blocks in place to deliver the most relevant and effective products for our industry. We are working hard to navigate and perfect strategies to best execute company transformation. Do we have more work to do? Absolutely. But, we're encouraged by the progress we've made.
