Cons
No one is buying the product. They claim they are a big data company and yet have very little big data sales. Less then 10% of sales are big data related and most of their sales are just renewals from past OEM customers. They compensate other divisions to add the software to line items of hardware and then the software doesn't get used or deployed. Sometimes the customers may not even know they have it. The moral of every Pentaho rep in in the gutter because they are over priced in a very crowded market and the only way to make commissions is to wait and hope that that hardware component secretly adds the software in your territory. Not even sure if the software works as they shy away from doing Proof of Concepts.
