Pros

The company has a purpose that I can be proud of with my friends and family, and it brings all of my coworkers together in a truly meaningful way. Lack of micromanagement means I can do what is best for me to be the most productive I can be. Great people and environment means I'm happy to go to work. The new CEO is diligent about maintaining the health of the company for long-term stability and is constantly finding new ways to help us be more successful with our clients and our company! Great benefits with vacation, insurance, etc.

Cons

Previously instability left some baggage, but the leadership transitions have made a huge impact at addressing past issues and creating a positive future. Structure is not very corporate, so you have to have a personality able to organize/motivate yourself for the company to be successful.

Pros

Good people. It's as simple as that. Hive Digital is an incredibly unique and well run agency. The focus on working with mission driven companies bleeds into every area of the business. How management deals with employees. How employees deal with each other. How employees deal with clients. The kind of clients that Hive Digital works with. The kinds of clients that Hive Digital refuses to work with. A diverse roster of clients in different industries but with similar problems presents a fun assortment of projects to work on.

Cons

Very hard to think of any legitimate cons when it comes to Hive Digital.

Pros

Co-Workers help make it a really fun place to work. Nerf cubicle battles occur often. Free soda, snacks and candy (so much candy) Free lunches sometimes (if you catch the invite, usually the same group of people goes) Some of the work is considered white hat SEO

Cons

Very low pay for majority for most employees that aren't 'Executives' Lack of knowledge and leadership in regards to two of the four 'Executives' Layoffs happen often enough that they have a nickname (The purge 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0) Problems that led to each round of layoffs have either not been addressed at all or have been addressed very poorly. Leading to an environment that makes employees consistently worry about their job security. Free soda, snacks and candy. If you aren't cautious you will gain a noticeable amount of weight. Perks like free lunches that mostly benefits the executives didn't completely stop even when some employees are told that their paychecks might be delayed. A lot of the work is gray/black hat SEO.
