I suspect that there will be a two week period before you sense it:
You’re being set up to fail. They give you a quota they tell you you’re going to have 3 months to hit- and two weeks in, you’ll be told it has to be done by the end of your first month.
Set that aside- you wouldn’t be in sales if you didn’t think you were one of the people that could do it. That’s where the other shoe drops:
Those of us who have been able to do it then enter phase two: the trash talking from the rest of the people there. The culture is one of “fighting to keep your job” always. It’s not their fault, really. That place just brings out the worst in people.
No- there’s no torture chamber. It’s not the worst place to work- it’s just not a good one.
