Pros
Pros are only the pay, paid vacations after maintaining full time status for a year etc., and the insurance is widely accepted.
Cons
You will have your schedule altered at the drop of a hat, or vacation changed. You may do more than your share frequently, while only receiving more duties/ office fill- ins, while the flat full time rate allows other coworkers to slack. Lots of opening after closings- often not enough time between shifts. This is good job for the physically active. We build, arrange, and condense daily. You will only get a 30 min lunch on a truck day even if you work 12 hours! Advancement is based more on who thinks you are cool than actual merit QUITE often. We do not drug test unless an individual gets injured on the job. Background checks are mandatory for certain positions, but if for instance, you work enough long hours at store relocations, etc., for a certain mgr at a given time, you might get a felony "erased". Yes, the pay is good, but the dishonesty can be disheartening, and often personal employees duties and expectations are disproportionate.
