Pros

Very few pros Old pension WAS generous but since removed Flexible working

Cons

Poor leadership, plans and priorities are constantly changing. Have no idea if teams are coming or going. Only get promoted if your face fits. Feels that if you disagree with senior leadership you’re out on your ear. Terrible diversity of senior leadership despite claims of commitment. This just appears to be lip service.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, and it is a shame to hear this has been a negative experience. As you’ll know, our pension scheme has been updated and remains generous as we benchmarked this to the upper quartile in the market to retain that value for our colleagues. We are undergoing an important period of evolution at Hodge, setting us up to grow sensibly and responsibly. As we grow, both our customers and colleagues will see new opportunities in the moments that matter. This includes our commitment to inclusion at Hodge, and we remain on track to make significant strides on this front since making our commitments in 2019. We always aim to communicate regularly and clearly with colleagues, making sure to bring everyone on the journey with us while also being respectful of individuals when the situation dictates. We do value all colleague feedback and, if you would like to provide any more, please contact us via one of our internal channels or through feedback@hodge.co.uk.

Pros

The hours they work are perfect

Cons

The only promote the family members of the supervisors & friends of management. People of Color has no chance in this company & it is so sad. If there is an opening, they tell you to apply. Why, when it’s going to be given to a person that is not of Color. People can come in off the street, & get a position before a person of color. Experience and degrees don’t mean anything with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. While the experiences you're noting here are really concerning, I am glad you're making use of this forum to be able to feed back on them, However, I'm not sure Hodge is the right company for this review - we're a financial services organisation and we don't have anyone employed as a builder. Some of the references here also seem to point to a US-based company, while we're based in Wales. If you do have feedback for Hodge Bank, please continue to reach out!
