Bonuses, 4weeks PTO/year, STO, monthly phone reimbursement, & management that's willing to negotiate terms during the interview. This company took a chance hiring me at the behest of the VP who new me from our last workplace to help take the CAD workload off the Owner's plate. The Owner personally invested time in training me in this position, provided me the tools to learn the rest on my own, and I've taken those tools & built upon that foundation to provide better support for our field crews, help us secure new work through digital takeoffs, & build out renewable & trenching work in CAD per the plans & our client's wishes. The company was willing to negotiate benefits during my interview: I live 68miles away, so they agreed to pay for my gas to & from work, & they allow me to work from home in the winter is the weather is terrible. No only that, but when my car started having issues, they provided me with a company vehicle as my own with a payment plan without interest; extremely generous of them. In my little over a year time at the company, I've received numerous bonuses in appreciation of my work, & the owner personally sends all employees a substantial Christmas gift from Snake River Farms. If there's anything you can't say about this company, it's that they don't care about their employees, because they most certainly do & go out of their way to show it to their employees.

Far from home (for me personally), so it makes for a long day when you are driving 136miles round trip daily. Salaried position, so no overtime pay, though that is offset by the bonuses provided.

Decent pay and benefits but good luck getting time off to use them. If you’re looking to make a quick buck by selling your sole to the devil this company is for you!

Hodge Western Corp is the worst company I have ever worked for in my 30+ years. At first it’s great, they make you feel welcome and offer generous pay and benefits but it is a trap! Once the honeymoon period is over or they no longer need to use you watch out. They do not perform back ground checks and employee shady individuals to get the job done. Fitting as the management team is shady all the way to the top. I have never seen a company treat employees as bad as this one. I have seen them leave traveling workers stranded with no advance notice and no way home. They lie to their clients, have an astronomical turnover rate. And will do anything to anybody to earn a quick buck.
