Large and stable global company. Global leader in construction materials. Diverse workplace, people are generally nice, or at least pretend to be. Safety is taken very seriously.
Cons
Over-complicated and redundant procedures. Terrible IT support - really terrible; outdated computer systems. Disorganized training procedures. Credit for anything positive usually goes to senior management only. Exploits recent immigrants to Australia to a certain degree, who usually leave after getting experience and go on to work for Holcim's competitors for better pay.
