The best part was the flexible to work less some weeks when I had midterms or finals. They did not have an office so we would meet at the library. They three founders are motivated, caring people who are doing a great thing Knowing that I was supporting an organizations that was effective a helping high-risk grade school students was rewarding.

The three founders of the organization are not good mangers. They like to keep as much of the process of fundraising in their direct control. Often they would ask me to contact some one or complete a task with out following up on giving me the information that they said they would provide. Often the contact or organization they wanted me to contact was not in the phone book and or there was not on-line presence. I spend most of my year working for them trying to determine how much they needed me to fundraise for their programs. When I would ask them for how much it cost or the amount that was spent past year they would provide information based on their DREAM cost to fund XX program NOT the actual cost. When I would provide funding letter or other materials to them they would then say "This looks like a lot. We do not need this much to run the XX program." It was quiet frustrating for the funder and myself to feel that we just keep rehashing the same things over the year I worked with them.
