Pros
Generous employee discount, employee voucher pet food program, competitive salary, 4% 401k match, opt-in health/vision/dental coverage, workplace community.
Cons
No work-life balance. Toxic corporate politics brought to store level. HO seems out of touch with store-level work load. Lack of solution-oriented problem solving/training from regional management. Management can & will sew discord between staff to discourage workplace friendships and consequently damages team cohesion. New assistants/managers are set up for failure with fast pace promotions without adequate training/oversight. Bare minimum staffing is the norm and are still pushed to exceed expectations.
