Pros

From good things that left in this company are probably bonuses to spend for health care, air tickets, hotels, online courses, etc. Minor quarterly bonuses, the amount is little, but still some help is given as a financial aid Friday remote work option (this one actually depends on the team you work at) Chilling working conditions

Cons

I left a good review back in 2024, but after working here for 2 years, I understood that I was blind in some points. The teamlead and seniors who work here for more than 4-5 years can slowly turn into toxic colleagues. You better do not open your mouth extra time regarding your personal life because those arguments can be used againtst you someday. If you commit a crime inside a company towards of them, or just seen to be evil for only them, but not for others, then you are most likely to be added in the black list and can be prevented from entering the job in here later. Working in many companies in Kazakhstan I have noticed that senior management employees tend to have a feeling of a self importance and could allow themselves to behave arrogantly just because they have a rule of letting you stay or encouraging your removal from office. What I want to say is that whatever word they say is right in their opinions and as a low level employee you don't have anything to say, even when your personal boundaries are crossed and human rights are abused. The main reason why I left this company is that because I fed up with their attitude towards me and I felt myself being cornered. The reason of staying and keep working here is not about cash you earn, but about the personal boundaries and the respect. Over some time I noticed that when they hire someone, they try to hire someone who can't go against their will and can't have their opinions, so to say try to find a morally weak or a humble person. Once I just said something wrong, and they kept reminding me of this fault later onwards, it was very annoying to accept it and I start to feel how my ego is slowly being harmed. After working here for 2 long years, making a good profit for a company, making good features, in the end I heard gossips that I was not a good employee after all... This was a last straw which made my decision final. I really didn't like the backstabbing my teamlead committed towards my efforts and results and since that moment I'm less eager to cooperate with him and one other guy in my previous team ever in the future maybe elsewhere, and who knows maybe back in this company. Once the bank had a good reputation of being the only bank in Kazakhstan with a connection to the West, but nowadays after Forte Bank acquired it, more changes were applied and honestly saying not for the best side. When I was about to leave, there were some projects and teams shut down which is a very alarming point to consider, and I believe that Forte might apply some other harsh conditions later in the future. However, they might consider adding some bonus packages later in order to retain talents. One big con which I think in here is a salary rise. Getting promoted with a high percentage is very unlikely, unless you did some good job and made a good profit for a company, and I think this rule works almost everywhere you work at.
