Pros

I am moved by the ambition of the company. Few companies in Berlin can offer a vision like this. The team is smart and moving fast. The product is changing how people rent apartments and this is only the beginning. My interview process was great. I had the opportunity to talk to many stakeholders and spend a day with the team to get a sense of what it's like to work at Home HT.

Cons

Get ready to dig in and work hard in the short term, it'll pay off long term. A couple of key roles unfilled but which should be soon.

Pros

Home (both leadership, talent lead and employees) gave me the best on-boarding I've had in a project to date (a lot more professional than the stage/maturity of the company would suggest). I particularly appreciate the level of intention that is put in building the company (culture) based on proven management principles, e.g. how people are held accountable in a meaningful way, and how feedback works. For me - in the product space - Home is a great place to apply myself at various levels, being able to own the transition from a ops-first to a product-first company.

Cons

You need to know that you're getting into a (fairly) early stage environment that requires people to roll up their sleeves, take ownership and create - some love this stage (and will jump at the opportunity), for others this can be overwhelming (and it won't be for you if you're looking for an uninvolved 9-5 gig).

Pros

Working at Home helped me a lot developing myself, diversifying my skillset and getting to meet very nice people in a super comfortable enviroment. With changing responsibilities and tasks Home is the perfect place to start your professional carreer in a young start-up.

Cons

Home can be 9 to 6 job, but looking at the team - it‘s not. Everybody is super motivated and willing to align the personal goals with the company goals which makes colleagues putting some extra work if needed.
