Pros
Being hired is easy and fast. The do the bare minimum as far as screening is concerned.
Cons
I've had years of experience in home health care, this was by far my worst experience. I joined the team hopeful and ready to contribute, but was quickly disappointed by the unprofessionalism. Office staff, including management openly spoke poorly about and insulted caregivers, clients, and even applicants. When I didn't engage in the negativity and expressed concern, I was reprimanded and told it was just "venting" and that although it was inappropriate wouldn't be repeated to the care providers or clients so it didn't matter. They also contacted care providers during times they were marked as unavailable, showing no respect for personal boundaries or work life balance. This agency offers some of the lowest pay in the area and on top of that expects employees to tolerate a toxic environment. I strongly recommend others weigh their options carefully before applying.
