Pros

Coworkers who experience trauma tend to bond well together, friends are made.

Cons

Inconsistent schedules with variable starting times and inconsistent days off, coupled with a physical labor load unlike I'd ever experience. The physical labor being passed off to sales associates who get severely hurt. Unreasonable demands by supervisors and an inconsiderate dolt of a general manager. "There's the door" type of dismissal policy. Absolute lack of gratitude and zero satisfaction of a job well done, with moving goalposts and contradictory orders meaning there is no end in sight. Tragically overworking exhausted or injured staff.

Pros

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
