Pros

Most employees are hard working in IT, other than the management hiring their own partners and other family members. Free car park Free Homeserve policy

Cons

After working in IT for the past 8 years I feel this used to be a good place to work. IT Management hire their own family members for roles. People walk on eggshells in most teams. Opportunities, training and 'overtime' is signed off by management. (See above comment) The low actions of the senior management are filtering down to all areas making the IT department bad. HR is too weak or knowledgeable in IT.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and for recognising how hard our teams in IT work. I joined the business before Christmas and it is certainly my observation that our environment is dynamic, constantly changing and can be challenging. I have been impressed with our people and their capabilities and the passion they display for HomeServe, often going the extra mile for our Customers and each other. I’ll be honest, I have met most people in the IT team during my Induction and the points you make are not something I recognise, however I would welcome the opportunity to discuss them with you on a one to one basis. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Femi Bamisaiye CIO HomeServe Membership Ltd

Pros

Great exposure and a chance at a full time offer if you make the internship count.

Cons

Definitely a learning curve as with any company so you need to speak up and ask questions.
