Pros

I’ve been at Hometree for around six months, and it’s genuinely been one of the best places I’ve worked. Everyone has been welcoming, supportive, and happy to help, which made settling in very easy. The engineering culture encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning, and there’s a real sense that people want each other to succeed. The work is interesting and meaningful, with plenty of opportunities to take ownership and make an impact. Leadership is approachable, communication is transparent, and there’s a healthy level of trust and autonomy. The company also promotes a good work-life balance while maintaining high standards.

Cons

As the company continues to grow, some processes are still evolving, which can occasionally lead to changes in priorities. That said, this is fairly typical for a fast-growing company, and the team is always looking for ways to improve.

Great people and a genuinely great culture — everyone is approachable and easy to talk to. It's a truly data-driven company with a strong collaborative spirit, where people are open to new ideas, comments, and feedback. The company also feels like it's on a good trajectory.

Cons

Nothing notable at the moment.

Pros

Hometree is a genuinely great place to work. The people are friendly, collaborative, and clearly care about what they’re building. There’s a strong sense of purpose around making homes greener and more efficient, which makes the work feel meaningful. Leadership is approachable and transparent, and there’s a real effort to listen to feedback and improve ways of working. The culture strikes a good balance between being ambitious and supportive — you’re trusted to own your work, but you’re never left without help. There are lots of opportunities to learn, grow, and take on responsibility, especially if you’re proactive.

Cons

Like any fast-growing company, things can change quickly and priorities sometimes shift. That can feel challenging at times, but it also keeps things interesting and means your work has real impact.
