The online system containing the available projects for bidding and submission is thorough and user-friendly. That way, the writers decide how much they want to, and are able to, take on. The workload is also quite structured. I like knowing that there are busy seasons so I can plan the extent of my involvement around that. In the last two years we've had work steadily throughout the year, with two very busy seasons (March-April and October-November), but also, thankfully, very little downtime, even over the summer! I hope to see it repeated this summer, as well. The projects are varied, stimulating, and even fun to research.
