Pros
- Over the last year the leadership team has focused on gathering feedback to improve systems and policies. There's a focus on increasing team member satisfaction and efficiency in the roles. - The team is very collaborative and supportive. I'm always asking questions and my team makes themselves available to help me better understand. - Intentional hiring to ensure our team has the right person in the right role. - Company is open to suggestions. - This is department specific, but my manager helps me to develop and ensures I have the right tools/resources to do my job well. When I’ve made mistakes in the past I wasn’t yelled at or demeaned; they put a plan in place to help me fix the issue and prevent it in the future. - Recently added a 401(k) employer match which is very important to me.
Cons
- I'd like to see a focus on more diversity and equitability in the hiring process. - I’ve heard other team members say it can feel a little isolating being fully remote and in the past there hasn’t been enough clarity on internal policies. Some departments have had too much work per team member. I’d say with the continuous improvement and hiring over the last year those concerns are actively being worked on.
