Pros

Honeywell has a good brand name. The perks and benefits are excellent for senior employees. Salary is generally equal to or higher than industry standards. Honeywell is very established. Job security for those working in India is very high (Mostly because Indians work for cheaper). There is a lot of flexibility in timings. Sometimes employees are allowed to work from home. But this depends entirely on the nature of your immediate boss. There is plenty of recognition and awards for outstanding work. Overall, it is a great company to work in, for people with 7+ yrs of experience.

Cons

Not at all a good place for freshers. Fresh engineering graduates are always given really small jobs, that nobody else would want to do. These jobs usually dont require engineering skills. And there is no scope for improvement or growth for employees joining in as freshers. The oldies are usually stuck in really good high posts, so there is not much scope for the youngsters. Too much money is spent on the senior employees who do not deliver much and not many oppurtunitites for a fresher in the company. The kind of work you do, does not align with your interests. It is just pure luck! There is a lack of life in office, due to lack of energetic and young people. What else can you expect when there are so many oldies in the campany... Work environment SUCKS!!

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
