Pros

Located in a great place - Southern California Very leisurely work timings - as long as you get your work done Good co-worker interaction and camaraderie

Cons

The worst pay and compensation policy - one of the very few companies that thinks that the lower level engineers are not as important as the CEO or the upper management. So even at the time of a crisis (like the 2008 downturn) the CEO and managers got a raise and bonus, but the engineer 1 or 2 or 3 did not see a penny. The managers are useless and there is a LOT of nepotism that goes on. The HR people are horrible as well. in short, DO NOT WASTE ANYTIME WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
